But to his dismay, Duško Zambata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duško Zambata to make the kick off. Sten Askestät fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mambru Puertas having to interfere. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Zambata in the 56th minute of play. Stamen Kapitanov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. FC Builder Sofia's Yakup Denizcan was substituted for Dobri Zhablenski. With a little luck, FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov got control of the ball when Duško Zambata tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Sten Askestät managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Builder Sofia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Askestät was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AJ Juventus FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
