Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Noel Schaffert struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academica Pulheim. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Noel Schaffert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Stefan Winitzki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dariusz Wieberneit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnd Freye didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Noel Schaffert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Jacobo Nores successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Schaffert's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner. Noel Schaffert went to the cornerflag to take it. Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute, Roman Biehlert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Schaffert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Schaffert was the one to do the kick off. Christoph Sönksen made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Alan Campos. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnd Freye didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnd Freye to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Paziorek to maneuver through the defense. Academica Pulheim's Gunther Daun was substituted for Roman Biehlert. Michael Paziorek kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Barnabas Rogge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Noel Schaffert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Primitivo Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Academica Pulheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Noel Schaffert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Noel Schaffert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Academica Pulheim were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
