Sulo Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute of the match, Sulo Montaña got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 42 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sulo Montaña went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Sulo Montaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sulo Montaña ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña. 89 minutes into the game, LOI's Kerimhan Cevher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Cevher in the 92nd minute of the match. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LOI.
