The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Mesere's corner Anatoli Búnev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Chile played a much better game than Mesere and deserved their victory. The Mesere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
