Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Nisen got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Lirayén's zone, Jarell Hill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Gallegos came out of the goal and Jarell Hill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Finlay Stair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Gallegos was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo Lirayén's goalkeeper Candido Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Deportivo Lirayén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Jesus Arbildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Jarell Hill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Candido Gallegos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Mikel Azagra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Candido Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Finlay Stair scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Gallegos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamaall Padmore kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Candido Gallegos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlus Waugh went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Candido Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leron Sale in the 37th minute of play. Kordal Duff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Candido Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leron Sale scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Gallegos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 minutes, Romon Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Deportivo Lirayén players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. Candido Gallegos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarell Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Gallegos came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Finlay Stair. But to his dismay, Finlay Stair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Finlay Stair in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Gallegos saved Deportivo Lirayén from getting behind. In the 58th minute Jamaica were awarded a corner. Finlay Stair went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Finlay Stair got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Candido Gallegos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Geroy Ascue kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Lirayén's Vicente Riveros got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Bernardo Nisen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Lirayén's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Finlay Stair was slow to take the kick. During this time Jamaica's players had a chance to rest. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lirayén's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Candido Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Nisen in the 83rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Riveros, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Nisen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. If Kordal Duff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jamaica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
