Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Davies kicked off to start the match. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Marcus Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Umberto Peres scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Dênis Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Diniz succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Marcus Diniz sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Goiás Esporte Clube's Dênis Faria. But to his dismay, Dênis Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Diniz in the 25th minute of play. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Diniz went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Marcus Diniz took a quick shot and it went in 10-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute, Charles Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Marcus Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. After 57 minutes, Dênis Faria made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Diniz in the 65th minute of play. Umberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marcus Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Valdir Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Diniz in the 77th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 16-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Goiás Esporte Clube's Valdir Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Marcus Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Dênis Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Diniz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Goiás Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
