Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jiang Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Yuan in the 15th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Inmortales FC's Jiang Yuan. But to his dismay, Jiang Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's Jiang Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jiang Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang Yuan ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Yuan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang Yuan scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Wilmer Klein got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's Jiang Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Jiang Yuan scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cyprian Tipinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Inmortales FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprian Tipinski came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jiang Yuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Yuan in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Wilmer Klein hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Jiang Yuan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiang Yuan went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Inmortales FC made a substitution. Emilio Caracciolo replaced Jiang Yuan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fan Fan Zhan during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Caracciolo couldn't finish the play.
