Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Grep having to interfere. Edgar Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Älta BK's Edgar Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Grep. Älta BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edgar Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Grep, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Älta BK's Edgar Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Sonny Ek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Erik Bergfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Emil Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes Älta BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Älta BK's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Grep came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edgar Grep in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Christoffer Vesterberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a Älta BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Älta BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
