Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Luís Bellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Milagros Fraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Ksawery Gongola shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The FFC Merainies 03 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oskar Törnblom to strike the kick off in the second half. Ksawery Gongola's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ksawery Gongola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Gongola to maneuver through the defense. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
