Gustaw Lech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Quintero's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Dino Scapini. Roland Banaszak's late challenge caught a Cobresal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Banaszak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cobresal booed when FC Saxon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Banaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Quintero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaw Lech was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Antoni Bubczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bubczyk in the 18th minute of play. Gustaw Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Scapini in the 23rd minute of play. Ludomil Zajonc charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomil Zajonc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludomil Zajonc hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gustaw Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Pirinchev in the 25th minute of play. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 33rd minute of play. Gustaw Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Scapini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Saxon defense, Dino Scapini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Lech. The FC Saxon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Lech should have stopped the shot. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Bubczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 59th minute Gregorio Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Dino Scapini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Saxon made a substitution. Szczepan Niemoj replaced Gilbert Dziuma. Karol Gendolla kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 66th minute of play forced FC Saxon's goalkeeper Gustaw Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Ignacio Allard kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Kajetan Rukszcz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cobresal's Dino Scapini got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Banaszak in the 75th minute of play. Gustaw Lech was a little too slow when Gregorio Quintero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. Cobresal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
