In the 4th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nana FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. André Luiz Queirós hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, one of Nana FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nana FC's Carolo Pirro. 0-1. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Celso Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Pirro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nana FC's Carolo Pirro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Nana FC's Robert Ahlquist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Nana FC's Robert Ahlquist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Nana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Pirro made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Frank Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Frank Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Amaral during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Nana FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Amaral. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Pirro having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Nana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Di Massimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Celso Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Tomas Illescas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
