A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luca Păun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Tinu in the 12th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Vergulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Vergulescu got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Vătăşel in the 22nd minute of play. Dan Tinu scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Vergulescu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. A hard shot by Dan Tinu from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Marcos Cotilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Mihuț's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Mihuț helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Fabian Mihuț got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Luca Păun hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Luca Păun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Scorpions -MM-'s Octav Vătăşel. But to his dismay, Octav Vătăşel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Scorpions -MM-'s Dan Tinu. But to his dismay, Dan Tinu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Uzuneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Walter Zenga in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Walter Zenga made a huge save. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Cambeiro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Zenga saved Scorpions -MM- from getting behind. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cambeiro in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Zenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Uzuneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Scorpions -MM- had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
