Şemsettin Tanaltay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 6th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Eray Sefer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Sefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Şemsettin Tanaltay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Şemsettin Tanaltay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Orhan Dalan got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şemsettin Tanaltay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fedai İnanöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Şemsettin Tanaltay didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Pekin Akdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Süreyya Kıvanç got a free kick in the 47th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedai İnanöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tanaltay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Zülfikar Akgöl replaced Ömer Rıza Zeyrek. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şemsettin Tanaltay having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedai İnanöz in the 71st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pekin Akdal's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pekin Akdal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Pekin Akdal got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedai İnanöz in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Fedai İnanöz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şemsettin Tanaltay. That made the score 0-7 after 93 minutes of play. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
