Anabolic Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist did a great save. Sonny Sigman tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Joakim Hökkvist. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Anabolic Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Joakim Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Anabolic Boys's Emanuel Holmgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Joakim Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Wiman in the 26th minute of play. Thor Lindström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Anabolic Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Joakim Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Anabolic Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Joakim Hökkvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wiktor Miodek charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Miodek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Wiman made a kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Wiman in the 52nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Lindström in the 53rd minute of play. Joakim Hökkvist made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Joakim Hökkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joakim Hökkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Joakim Hökkvist made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Wiktor Miodek hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joakim Hökkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 90 minutes Anabolic Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Anabolic Boys's goalie and right to Facundo Cadaval. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Anabolic Boys's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Anabolic Boys to leave the ground with a draw.
