Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yu Yang Sang got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Yang Sang. Sagarana Clube's Benê Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yu Yang Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Yu Yang Sang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Yu Yang Sang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Dearden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sagarana Clube's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Trigo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Éder Madureira. But to his dismay, Éder Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Éder Madureira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Trigo having to interfere. If Yu Yang Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Éder Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Barros in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Madureira in the 69th minute of play. Serafim Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Fabrício de Alcântara replaced Zé Roberto da Costa. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bruno Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Salles went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sagarana Clube had played much better football throughout.
