An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Wydrych in the 11th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Valentin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Milko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Fabio Quintyn made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Florencio Ferran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute, Dagoberto Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Quintyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Lucio Morningstar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Quintyn. Húsares's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Morningstar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 30th minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Florencio Ferran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Ferran in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Zé Carlos Madureira replaced Lucio Morningstar. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 77th minute of play. Húsares's Carlos Miliano was substituted for Josué Vargas. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon was substituted for Florencio Ferran. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cayetano Monico was substituted for Igor Milko. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Húsares's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Carlos Madureira took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 83rd minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Monico in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Cayetano Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahit Ergüç in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Mehmet Akif Ayana got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Húsares supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Húsares would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
