Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play. Macos Graciani made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vukašin Hadžiđulbić having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Galloway got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frans Qvarnström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Tre Starka got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig Petersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tre Starka's corner Stig Petersson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Qvarnström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Vukašin Hadžiđulbić in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Galloway in the 73rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Galloway in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
