Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantino Lartaun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Fernanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Expreso del oeste's Constantino Lartaun in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Constantino Lartaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expreso del oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Lartaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juliusz Hodyl made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Honorio Mikeldi however managed to control. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Lartaun in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Expreso del oeste got a freekick which was hit by Joaquín Pilinxhi. In the 23rd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. If Constantino Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Lartaun in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 34th minute, Constantino Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Honorio Mikeldi sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Lartaun in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Lartaun in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Mikeldi in the 60th minute of the match. Jaime Cazalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Lartaun in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Expreso del oeste's Honorio Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Mikeldi in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Constantino Lartaun made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Lartaun in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Fernanco having to make a save. Juliusz Hodyl got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Honorio Mikeldi. 91 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Lartaun came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Lartaun in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Expreso del oeste fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
