In the 8th minute, meteora 1929's Chatziantoniou Xanthos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 12th play minutes Chatziantoniou Xanthos shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Fragou, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nasos Venetidis who took care of the corner kick. meteora 1929's Nasos Venetidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The long shot by Nasos Venetidis in the 22nd minute really tested Jacobo Nores's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 27th minute, Paraguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dimitris Fragou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Jacobo Nores successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dimitris Fragou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match meteora 1929 got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nasos Venetidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 33 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chatziantoniou Xanthos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Chatziantoniou Xanthos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chatziantoniou Xanthos to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, meteora 1929's Dimitris Fragou made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, Dimitris Fragou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Fragou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Chatziantoniou Xanthos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Chatziantoniou Xanthos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by meteora 1929's Chatziantoniou Xanthos. But to his dismay, Chatziantoniou Xanthos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Prodromos Kabourakis in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. Soulis Vamvakousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Xanthos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chatziantoniou Xanthos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Dimitris Fragou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatziantoniou Xanthos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Dimitris Fragou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Dimitris Fragou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Fragou came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Dimitris Fragou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Fragou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. meteora 1929 had played much better football throughout.
