Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes C.A.JORGOVAN got a freekick which was hit by Avelino Canal. Artemio Domenech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Isidoro Honesto sent off a good shot on target. If Gonzalo Hoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Siöberg in the 17th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Gonzalo Hoya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Bermund. 27 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Hoya. After having played for 33 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Bermund's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Bermund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Gervasio Bermund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, C.A.JORGOVAN's Gonzalo Hoya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Isidoro Honesto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Bermund got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Hoya to strike the kick off in the second half. Artemio Domenech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Nils Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Hoya in the 62nd minute of the match. Artemio Domenech was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Hoya in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Nils Siöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.JORGOVAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Paolo Gagriel replaced Gonzalo Hoya. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Siöberg in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Artemio Domenech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Siöberg in the 77th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Siöberg in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Siöberg came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Honesto went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A.JORGOVAN.
