Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boukjan Bunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Erasmo Diegotxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Jan Fabian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petr Martinů kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
