Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. In the 12th minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Šedina in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Diegotxe was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Diegotxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erasmo Diegotxe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robert Šedina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Šedina was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho got a freekick which was hit by Boukjan Bunt. In the 55th minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Šedina, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Diegotxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Erasmo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boukjan Bunt in the 64th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Diegotxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho made a substitution. Boukjan Bunt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Noboa. Peru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boukjan Bunt in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 88th minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe did a great save. If Boukjan Bunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
