The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Ceyhan Kuluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Emil Bartochowski sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Nistor Conta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanley Wallace during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of demir idmanyurdu booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Bruno Barrett, was totally fooled by demir idmanyurdu's Ceyhan Kuluk, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hami Eyüp in the 21st minute. 3-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Ceyhan Kuluk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ceyhan Kuluk had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nistor Conta succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, Hami Eyüp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nistor Conta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 37 minute of play. Hami Eyüp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Conta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curacao's Kyle Davies got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Hami Eyüp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 8-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The wind increased when Ceyhan Kuluk made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Emil Bartochowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. After having played for 54 minutes, Ceyhan Kuluk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. demir idmanyurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Kuluk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hami Eyüp in the 57th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Kuluk came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Emil Bartochowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceyhan Kuluk scored 11-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes of play, demir idmanyurdu's Nistor Conta made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceyhan Kuluk's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy Kennedy during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceyhan Kuluk scored 13-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes, Ceyhan Kuluk made it 17-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Nistor Conta made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 18-0. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. demir idmanyurdu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
