The Last Try
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Fidele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3rd play minutes Hugo Fidele shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. After 10 minutes, Hugo Fidele made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Fidele had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 16th minute, Orlando Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Felipillo in the 20th minute of play. El ultimo's Erubiel Gorka shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bruno Barrett but with some difficulty. In the 24th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Davies to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Rafael Napier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Rafael Napier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Napier in the 32nd minute of the match. Hugo Fidele scored 5-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Fidele. In the 39th minute Rafael Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Hugo Fidele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 62 minutes, Saul Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ultimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Peruanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The El ultimo fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when El ultimo's Hugo Fidele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 68 minutes of play, El ultimo's Hugo Fidele made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Fidele in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Hugo Fidele put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Benicio Felipillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Orlando Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Rafael Napier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El ultimo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 93 minutes into the game, Santos Bertol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El ultimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Santos Bertol hit a great ball. There was no doubt that El ultimo were the better team. El ultimo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
