In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Murilo Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Lopez having to interfere. Gustavo Costas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Terra in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurits Dyrkorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Terra in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Marcos Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Marcos Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kenneth Söderqvist made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aybars Tuygun however managed to control. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Mengü came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Mengü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İsrafil Mengü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC had played much better football throughout.
