Charles Cox hit a great ball. If Lucas Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Dep. Union Madereros's Lucas Abella. But to his dismay, Lucas Abella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Luis Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Kennedy in the 36th minute of play. Cornelio Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Lucas Abella dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 6-0. Club Dep. Union Madereros were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Curacao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Murilo Leão took the corner. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Leo Argina replaced Cornelio Enmanuel. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Jaime Laurgain was substituted for Lucas Abella.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Colas in the 66th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Cornelio Colas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Rene Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Club Dep.
