Hansen in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Alan Campos. When Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De hijgende Hertjes's goalie prevented a goal. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Joris Idelberger. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to De hijgende Hertjes getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jacques Haan hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Lammers skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of De hijgende Hertjes's Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Spiering, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Lammers. De hijgende Hertjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Marcel Lammers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Wiarda in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Spiering got free with Jacobo Nores in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Lammers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, De hijgende Hertjes's Marcel Lammers got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, De hijgende Hertjes's Jochem Warringa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jochem Warringa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of De hijgende Hertjes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jochem Warringa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 55 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Lammers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Spiering in the 61st minute of play. Juan Diego Tenorio charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Diego Tenorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Spiering's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Lammers came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Pardo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 85th minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match, Jaime Pardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcel Lammers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerwin Pilage in the 97th minute of the match.
