Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 6thth minute of the game Clóvis Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clóvis Cabral in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Clóvis Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Clóvis Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Clóvis Cabral 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Clóvis Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 40th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Valério Arce. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Clóvis Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Flavinho Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Cabral to make the kick off. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 54th minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Juan Diego Tenorio threw the ball into play from the sideline. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Vito Amorim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 63 minutes of play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Clóvis Cabral made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 71 minutes, Clóvis Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rüknettin Aysan hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Juan Diego Tenorio. The corner ended in Valério Arce almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores did a great save. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Lionel-Andrés Iniesta. But to his dismay, Lionel-Andrés Iniesta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Cabral's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis Cabral took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Lionel-Andrés Iniesta got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
