Lino Budimir hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Edmundo Espiga in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elder de Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Šimunko in the 54th minute of play. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Bruno Šimunko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Arijan Zlatarević was substituted for Ninoslav Stipanić. Ninoslav Baburica struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrica Madunić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Parzysz in the 82nd minute of play. Ibrica Madunić kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Toledo having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Šimunko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
