Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper CJ Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn did a great save. 肖洋翔 charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 肖洋翔 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. 肖洋翔 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over CJ Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. CJ Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of CJ Kahn. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn did a great save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Kahn having to interfere. CJ Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Kahn having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 叶卫枫 to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 鲁平誉 to make the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. CJ Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 鲁平誉, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 毛翀磊 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If 许泉棋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by CJ Kahn but with some difficulty. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind CJ Kahn. CJ Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. CJ Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
