With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but CJ Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Kahn having to interfere. 毛翀磊 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper CJ Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that CJ Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CJ Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but CJ Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Xavier Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. CJ Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Indiano made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Chinese CJ Youth Academy's CJ Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Xavier Figueroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over CJ Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but CJ Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Xavier Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this CJ Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 鲁平誉 who took care of the corner kick. When 龙云平 fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinese CJ Youth Academy's protests and gave 龙云平 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chile booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龙云平 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CJ Kahn made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. CJ Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Fontirroig went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without CJ Kahn having to make a save. CJ Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over CJ Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile played a much better game than Chinese CJ Youth Academy and deserved their victory. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
