Erasto Cobo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgílio Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasto Cobo ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Erasto Cobo came free, but Virgílio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgílio Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tello Picado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Erasto Cobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgílio Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Cabral came free, but Zabal Bucaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Aílton Baptista rounded RAMBO FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. A collision led to RAMBO FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Astor Cacho hit a great ball. A hard shot by João Francisco Falcão from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Zabal Bucaran's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasto Cobo in the 36th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aílton Baptista. In the 41st match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Faria to maneuver through the defense. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Pedro Tasso replaced João Francisco Falcão. After 48 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Eate Lamota. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cristian Urbano succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 56th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Severino to maneuver through the defense. If Tello Picado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Erasto Cobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Tello Picado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAMBO FC and the Compostela FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaizki Chirivoga. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Cabral in the 82nd minute of play. When Tello Picado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 84th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tello Picado to maneuver through the defense. When Compostela FSCMZ's César Correia in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RAMBO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zabal Bucaran came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Compostela FSCMZ's Cristian Urbano. But to his dismay, Cristian Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Zabal Bucaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zabal Bucaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Compostela FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
