Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anter Barroso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anter Barroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anter Barroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Anter Barroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. Academia Rio's Anter Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Anter Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. In the 35th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Hizo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Nicolae Hizo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anter Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. The Academia Rio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avram Pârvan to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olimpiu Dichiseanu's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Olimpiu Dichiseanu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. 68 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Anter Barroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Academia Rio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Anter Barroso, making the score, 1-3. When Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Academia Rio's Anter Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Academia Rio and deserved their victory. The Academia Rio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
