Bruno Capello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mao Zhen Hong having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Capello. 9 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Grucza came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Capello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Lustosa in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Los Trip from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fabrício Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Bruno Capello notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Bruno Capello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Capello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bruno Capello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Capello, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Bruno Capello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mao Zhen Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Los Trip's Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca was substituted for Bruno Capello. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fryderyk Grucza in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Los Trip from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Luciano Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Agustín Rossi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
