Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Naylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Griffiths in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Heavenly Hooters's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennie Rusby came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. Marty King could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Todd Griffiths scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 2-0. In the 41st minute, Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Brandon Wright kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Marty King ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 61st minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Rusby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phil Naylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Griffiths in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Pedro Luiz de Moraes replaced Phil Naylor. Heavenly Hooters's Adrian Collier was substituted for Richárd Bódog. A sloppy throw-in by Luo Feng Feng in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 84 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz de Moraes came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marty King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Heavenly Hooters had won after a very even match.
