When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Cristobal Eneto took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Mikael Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 11-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Cristobal Eneto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Cristobal Eneto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
