Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 9 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Capello. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustín Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Perutxo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Wiliam Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Los Trip's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jacob May fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agustín Rossi quite easily take care of the ball. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Perutxo in the 30th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Cassius Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koby Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Gauargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Perutxo was the one to do the kick off. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Trip from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the game, Jacob May cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Agustín Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Trip's Cipriano Castro was substituted for Arsenio Perutxo. In the 72nd minute, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 77th minute, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustín Rossi. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Campbell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca in the 88th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Trip throughout the match.
