Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Capello took the kick off in the first half of the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Capello in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Bruno Capello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Capello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janne Gibson got free with Marco Day in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 12th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Monty Rogers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustín Rossi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Monty Rogers put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Trip's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Edelmiro Neto thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Agustín Rossi, a very annoying self made goal in the 49th minute which led to 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Los Trip's CJ Asensio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match USA got a corner. Los Trip's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustín Rossi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute Bruno Capello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustín Rossi firmly grabbed it by the left post. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Los Trip made a substitution. Flavio Marchegiani replaced Manuel Santxol. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. A sloppy throw-in by Jacob May in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Trip's Janne Gibson. USA's Marco Baker shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Agustín Rossi but with some difficulty. If Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The Los Trip fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Los Trip's Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, USA's Sam Campbell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustín Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. USA played a much better game than Los Trip and deserved their victory. The Los Trip players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
