Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Adriano Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Adriano Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 18 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Wright. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 22nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Adriano Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Adriano Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Adriano Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. When Cliff Rowden came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the The Obscurials fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cliff Rowden couldn't finish the play. If Adriano Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Adriano Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Adriano Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Anders Westerstrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Fotis Kapiris threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Westerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 62 minutes into the game, Fabian Spânu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 67 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. During this time The Obscurials's players had a chance to rest. 83 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 87 minutes into the game, The Obscurials's Lawrance Grandison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Lawrance Grandison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrance Grandison in the 93rd minute of the match. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Fabian Spânu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Obscurials were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
