In the 2nd minute Celso Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes GD Almargense got a freekick which was hit by Victor Kristiansen. When Francis Barney fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knight Of Dawn's protests and gave Francis Barney a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Francis Barney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Denis Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teta Grande in the 10th minute of the match. Claudemiro Tristão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teta Grande went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Celso Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teta Grande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Pinheiro in the 36th minute of play. Adérito Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adérito Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adérito Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Denis Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Rebelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Eiró made a kick off. A hard shot by Alexandre Eanes from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Denis Urtats's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teta Grande in the 63rd minute of play. Adérito Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knight Of Dawn's Bruno Norino was substituted for Klement Belko. GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares was substituted for Romão Ferro. GD Almargense's Carlos Vides was substituted for Benedito Rebelo. In the 67th minute Alexandre Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Knight Of Dawn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandre Eanes was slow to take the kick. During this time GD Almargense's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute Alexandre Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Valadares in the 77th minute of play forced Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Denis Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Patrício in the 78th minute of play. Knight Of Dawn made a substitution. Qiu Yuan Jun replaced Teta Grande. Benjamin Šeško got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Victor Kristiansen. The audience was convinced that Carlos Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Urtats was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When Bruno Norino came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Knight Of Dawn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Norino couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Qiu Yuan Jun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudemiro Tristão. GD Almargense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qiu Yuan Jun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Carlos Vides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Denis Urtats skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 95 minutes, Callum Doyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GD Almargense and the Knight Of Dawn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Callum Doyle to maneuver through the defense.
