After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 9th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 10th minute of play. Johnny Bator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Marciano Hendrickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arian Beqaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes in the game Luca Rouco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joel Gaona. The Beek City fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 42 minutes, Marciano Hendrickx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beek City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Hendrickx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Jean-Louis Ouaddou commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Arian Beqaj in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Hendrickx came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arian Beqaj. Arian Beqaj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arian Beqaj. The goal made the score 2-3. The supporters of Mexico booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rueben Rashleigh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Hendrickx hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes Beek City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Beek City's Arian Beqaj managed to reach the ball for a save. Arian Beqaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beek City's Arian Beqaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Arian Beqaj. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
