Benito Sanz was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and 魏骋耀 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 魏骋耀 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 邱康振 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 邵南洲 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. 莫桦平 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 魏骋耀 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 韩城昆 came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 韩城昆 couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邵南洲 in the 35th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 谢潮扬 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 邵南洲. But to his dismay, 邵南洲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曲西响 to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's goalkeeper 邱康振, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 魏骋耀. But to his dismay, 魏骋耀 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 61st minute 魏骋耀 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邵南洲 in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 邵南洲 made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 曲西响 made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute 邵南洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 邵南洲's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 邵南洲 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩城昆 in the 92nd minute of play. 莫桦平 kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
