Arne Grabner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Falconara Albanese got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Garin. Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Dhondt in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Franky Dhondt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner. Arne Grabner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Franky Dhondt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Grabner was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Falconara Albanese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franky Dhondt to make the kick off. After 81 minutes of play, Falconara Albanese's Martin Goren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Falconara Albanese's Martin Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Falconara Albanese's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Bennvar Back scored to the left of an out of position Arne Grabner, making the score, 2-2.
After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Martin Goren made the kick off and play began. After some careless play in the Falconara Albanese defense, Bennvar Back kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Grabner. The Falconara Albanese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Grabner should have stopped the shot. The Falconara Albanese supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cardo Ruso Cordobés's performance. The match ended with a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
