Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maxi López started the match with the kick off. Maxi López blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. In the 5th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Alphonse to maneuver through the defense. Maxi López took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. Luis Neira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Seide came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Neira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After 31 minutes, Jean Claude Ulysse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the C.A. Peñarol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Samuel Benavente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, C.A. Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviano Verdejo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Peñarol's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Baracaldo came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Seide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Silviano Verdejo hit a great ball. Jean Marie Alcius charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Marie Alcius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean Marie Alcius hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Alphonse to strike the kick off in the second half. Silviano Verdejo's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silviano Verdejo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silviano Verdejo hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Abundio Ferraro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Alphonse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Samuel Benavente came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the C.A. Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Benavente couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi López in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Ernso Constant got a free kick in the 66th minute. Saint Jean Pierre's late challenge caught a C.A. Peñarol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saint Jean Pierre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Saint Jean Pierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Aicardi in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Maxi López got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saint Jean Pierre got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th minute, Saint Jean Pierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Haiti booed when C.A. Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geofredo Laferte didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Isidro Fariña fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Peñarol's protests and gave Isidro Fariña a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Isidro Fariña hit a great ball. Enzo Lecaroz made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Neira however managed to control. In the 86th minute, Geofredo Laferte made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Peñarol's Maxi López. But to his dismay, Maxi López quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Peñarol fully deserved thier win.
