After 6 minutes of play, Masters United F.C.'s Florencio Rafe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Bologna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Teofilio in the 14th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Enrique Bologna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Rafe. The supporters of Colombia booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Martin Istad came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes in the game Anselmo Ted did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Saverio Teofilio. Enrique Bologna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bologna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Enrique Bologna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Anselmo Ted was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Masters United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After 92 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Ted. 93 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Carballar. Yu Yi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yu Yi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Yi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Masters United F.C..
