Bernard Sierocki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Edoardo Proietti made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Luís Paulo Linhares sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Pari came free, but Teodoro Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Carter Pallini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Ţipirig got free with Edoardo Proietti in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Anselmo Longo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Longo to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Proietti came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo da Floresta's Epifanio Cebrian. But to his dismay, Epifanio Cebrian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Teodoro Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Pari, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Paulo Linhares to strike the kick off in the second half. Carter Pallini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Teodoro Jacinto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Linhares in the 56th minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Edoardo Proietti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edoardo Proietti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute, Luís Paulo Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edoardo Proietti was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 67th minute, Comunardo Bertoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Pallini got free with Teodoro Jacinto in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandu Ţipirig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edoardo Proietti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The São Paulo da Floresta fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when São Paulo da Floresta's Luís Paulo Linhares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
