Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. In the 8th minute, Fumasche's Wei De Ling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Vuelta having to interfere. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Vuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Wei De Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fumasche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wei De Ling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Karlos Vuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fumasche's Wei De Ling in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karlos Vuelta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Fumasche's goalkeeper Karlos Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karlos Vuelta. Fumasche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Karlos Vuelta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced Fumasche's goalkeeper Karlos Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Kaj Björnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wei De Ling might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wei De Ling ran back to his position shaking his head. Wei De Ling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Karlos Vuelta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Fumasche's Wei De Ling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wei De Ling in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho scored 1-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karlos Vuelta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fumasche's Karlos Vuelta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Fumasche from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karlos Vuelta. Karlos Vuelta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wei De Ling came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fumasche's Jacobo Estevez. In the 75th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karlos Vuelta. Karlos Vuelta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Wei De Ling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fumasche made a substitution. Marcelo Eufemio replaced Crawford Korff. If Wei De Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei De Ling in the 81st minute of play. Fumasche's attentive Cayetano Acuña managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Cayetano Acuña hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei De Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fumasche throughout the match.
