Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brett Hull started the match with the kick off. Charles Cox's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Cox helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Hull in the 4th minute. AFC Richmond's Tyree Caron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Brett Hull ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, AFC Richmond's Brett Hull dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tyree Caron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 23rd minute of play. If David Haskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Brett Hull managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Richmond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett Hull was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertie Johnson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Dante Grenier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 3-0. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Harvey Doyle hit a great ball. Brett Hull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Richmond's Rashad Stern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertie Johnson during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bertie Johnson hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Brett Hull's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Ali Morse got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Brett Hull who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Jeff Haywood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Richmond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Haywood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When AFC Richmond's Brett Hull in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Brett Hull in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 74 minutes, Brett Hull made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brett Hull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Rashad Stern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brett Hull's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 88th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Haywood to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Tyree Caron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Haywood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AFC Richmond's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
