In the 19th minute, Eliseo Mina made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Jaen. AKDmicos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Nunez Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Jaen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolandas Gudaitis. Nemesio Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Bonifacio Bazkoare made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After a rather tough play, AKDmicos FC's Guille Pro got a free kick in the 38th minute. AKDmicos FC's Nemesio Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolandas Gudaitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AKDmicos FC's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Jaen came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Jaen was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Luz Tejedor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luz Tejedor really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Nemesio Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Leocadio in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Jaen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. AKDmicos FC's Raul Jaunti was substituted for Sergio Leocadio. AKDmicos FC's Angelo Estefan was substituted for Nunez Acuña. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Nemesio Jaen in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Estefan scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Guille Pro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Peru played a much better game than AKDmicos FC and deserved their victory. The AKDmicos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
