In the 7th minute Lucas Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Beltrán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Bayezit Tecik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Beltrán in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iker Unax who took care of the corner kick. In the game's 15th minute COSQUIN SFC's Iker Unax took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Julio Vera and thus the score was 1-0. When Luis Rumaldo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the COSQUIN SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Rumaldo couldn't finish the play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Tecik having to interfere. Bayezit Tecik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Lucas Beltrán dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-0. Balthazar Van Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes of play, COSQUIN SFC's Everardo Abella made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

With his leg Bayezit Tecik managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COSQUIN SFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iker Unax in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on COSQUIN SFC's corner Iker Unax fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute Lucas Beltrán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Abella came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Unax came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Beltrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The COSQUIN SFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
